Kelly Killz: Digital Portraits at Erie Art Museum Masquerade

Kelly Killz paints digital portraits of patrons at Erie Art Museum Masquerade October 28, 2023 Erie Art Museum is pleased to present Video Portraits by FEED artist Kelly Killz at the 2023 Masquerade. FEED activates EAM with an installation featuring YOU and your masked friends in the Hagen Gallery. Kelly Killz, FEED alumnus artist, uses phone apps to create one-of-a-kind portraits of costumed revelers at the Masquerade. Kelly Killz teleports guests inside a projection playground, enchanting masqueraders like the Phantom with Christine. Kelly uses machine-learning apps on her phone to generate AI collages with Phantom of the Opera prompts. Kelly transports you inside the artwork, capturing portraits to make an artwork memorializing the night. Collectively, the individual portraits become a group portrait of the community centered around Erie Art Museum, joining in a celebration of art and culture in downtown Erie PA on Halloween weekend.
