SeeJ/Hayden/Weissman/Proto: COIL

Chris "SeeJ" Jordan’s COIL (Chamber of Infinite Light) was presented on 22 July, 2023 at FEED Media Art Center in Erie, PA. COIL visitors entered a fog-filled chamber and experienced an immersive sound and light spatialization. SeeJ performed live video; a live musical score was improvised by Ethan Hayden (Infrasonic Press), Doc Proto, and cellist Katie Weissman. COIL is dedicated to Otto Piene and Group Zero, who’s light continues to shine in us all.
